SESSION NOTE ~ When I met Jasper early on he was such a fearful dog. Then I didn't see him for a while. When I saw him next on a walk with some other sleddies in December 2016 while in Whistler to see the premier of Sled Dogs, the documentary, Jasper had done a 180 degree turn.
He was loose and happy and zooming off leash - with his GPS collar on however.
When he came for his session, I saw his fearful self again. You'll see him looking back to the side - this was because there were THREE more sleddies of his sleddie buddies waiting in the wings on a sofa - so it was a bit of a distraction. We kept his leash attached so he wouldn't run back to the dog pile! (photos to come)
As you can read from his bio, he still has some issues, but the fact that he can go off leash and run around and be loose and happy is a pretty special thing.
