On Location pet sessions are more about capturing the feeling of place and time.
Movement and stillness. Exploring. Play. Portraits and candid moments.
Utilizing our surroundings to help tell the story of your pet.
What does your pet love to do?
What do you love to do with your pet?
I bring over a decade of photographing animals who are either in, or have been in the care of a rescue or shelter due to my innate love for those who need a little extra help in this world. How this translates to your session is that I embrace all of your pet. So along with the posed portraits, we also celebrate the candids and impromptu moments (what some may consider outtakes), that I feel are the little bits n' bobs that help make your dog its unique self and the apple of your eye.
Whether your dog is the happiest-go-luckiest, or fearful, shy, or not great with other dogs... or maybe older, slower or palliative, I'd love to meet them and help capture all that you love about them and help share a piece of their story.
The only thing your pet *has* to do in my session is "look cute", and every one of them nails it 100% of the time!

All sessions come with a pre-session chat and/or on-line questionnaire. Sessions can take place at pet's favourite place -- your home, a favourite park, the ocean... or I can suggest some spots. Humans are welcome to join in on some images, though I may make odd noises to get you to look at my camera. Travel fees may apply to sessions outside Greater Victoria.

Do you have a book of your pet? How cool would it be to display a book devoted to your pet on your coffee table or on your bookshelf? (or wherever you keep your books, I don't judge)
Once you've had a chance to view your preview gallery, if you can't narrow down your favourite session images, might I recommend a book?!
My custom photo books contain all the images from your preview gallery and I take great care in sequencing the images inside to create a book that tells the story of your pet's photo session.
Printed photo books are a keepsake you can visit again and again.
