 Marlo --- though his physical ailments were getting the better of him, this ol' chap showed me the teeniest glimpse of the fun-time fella he used to be. He still loved his orange ball. He still loved treats. He still loved his mom and his family. Rest in peace and love sir, I'm grateful to have met you.

 This magical being is Pumpkin. 🎃
He was a sled dog who worked in Whistler, BC up until recently. 🎃 If I didn’t tell you he was a former sled dog, would you have believed me? That slim build, that short coat. 🎃 Pumpkin is one of 192 former sled dogs I’ve photographed over the past decade. I little video I made from my hour spent with Victoria Bulldog Society a few weeks ago. I was gifted a GoPro a while back and I'm still trying to figure out how best to film with it when I've also got my DSLR(s) attached to me. Clearly I need more hands. Gerty was very curios about me and my camera, Tonic (larger of the two bulldogs) had moments of interest when she wasn't sniffing ALL the park, and Tanker (the Frenchie) hung out with Mel on leash as there were other dogs at the park and he's still learning about the big, wide, world. Sound on!
