only good days now...

There's nothing like letting the doggies run! 
For the last two weeks we've been fostering a little dog from the Victoria SPCA as he healed from surgery which removed an eye that had been injured and left untreated. And when it came down to it, we knew we couldn't let him go. He just fits in - he's a yin to Suzy's yang, but they get along in their odd little social inept ways. So now this snuggly little 4-year-old shih-tzu mix, Mr. Coco is the newest member of our family!
To celebrate his new birthday, I took him and our Suzy girl (who'd almost 11) out for a doggie date with three other dogs who have experienced some awful stuff in the short time they've been on this earth. So today was the official launch of "Only Good Days Now"... something my friend and I thought up to remind these little dogs that there will be no more bad days... only good ones from now on. Days of visits at the park, meeting new friends, running, playing, being social and getting lots of love (and treats!) and many naps of course! 
After the park, we went back to Miss J & Mama's house so they could show off their new toys...
